Misconceptions

A New Series

I have started working on a brand new series that I will launch in January and I would like your help.  The topics will relate to common misconceptions people have about life and business that are holding them back.  For example, John C. Maxwell’s book “Failing Forward” talks about the misconceptions people have about “failing” and “failure,” how these cause barricades to success, and what can be done to remove them.

“There is no doubt in my mind that there are many ways to be a winner, but there is really only one way to be a loser and that is to fail and not look beyond the failure.” — Kyle Rote Jr., quoted in “Failing Forward” by John C. Maxwell

My list of topics is growing.  However, I am inviting  YOU to help shape the direction of this series by suggesting misconceptions that you have observed or experienced and what specific actions were needed to turn them around.  Please respond using the blog comment feature below.

I look forward to hearing from you!

God bless,

  1. I like your example and would like to see you expand it even further to challenge employers (especially small(er) business owners) to create cultures in their businesses that permit employees to take risks and even fail (within some boundary) – in other words to not only embrace this value for themselves but to be sure that within a culture of accountability that there is room to innovate and try new ideas. – I look forward to seeing what you do with this.
